I thoroughly enjoyed reading about life in Burkburnet. The author was very detailed and engaging in her portrayal of life in an involved community. Pam's Dad and my Dad are cousins who grew up together but in their adult years lived miles apart. As a result, we knew little about them. Such a nice memoir.
I personally know the author and I am from the town featured in this book.
It made great Christmas gifts for my friends and relatives.
